The logistics deposit situated in Vescovana, in the province of Padua, Veneto, and constructed by Engineering 2K, is an example of modern and sustainable infrastructure. Destined for the distribution of household goods, the building covers a total surface area of 15,077.88 m2, with a 602-m2 office building dedicated to administrative and operational activities. The warehouse is equipped with 17 loading bays, which ensure rapid and efficient logistics.
The main characteristics of the deposit include the 500-kW photovoltaic system, which not only reduces the building’s environmental impact, but also helps contain operating costs. Furthermore, the structure does not require heating, thanks to the adoption of an optimised insulation strategy drawn up by our engineers during the planning state to reduce consumption to a minimum while guaranteeing the highest energy performance for the building. These characteristics have earned the project LEED Gold certification, a prestigious form of recognition for commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency.
