Engineering 2K has completed an innovative logistics project in Valsamoggia, characterised by a two-sided logistics building. Intended to operate as a distribution centre, this building covers a total area of 89,520 sqm. Equipped with 98 loading bays, the building features 2,454 square metres of modern office space, providing plenty of room for administrative and management activities. Special features of this distribution centre include 50,000 sqm of heated floor space and the division into three different facilities, allowing flexible and specialised management of different operational needs.

The construction has been designed to ensure the highest standards of sustainability and energy efficiency. For this reason, customised sunshades and a brown roof have been installed, an ecological solution that promotes biodiversity. In addition, a photovoltaic system with a power output of 55 KW is in place, which contributes significantly to reducing the building’s ecological footprint, securing its BREEAM Excellent certification.
