The building is located on redeveloped land; the works involved the requalification of the ARAP Autoporto di San Salvo, with the demolition of the existing buildings and the construction of the plant.

A robotised and ecologically sustainable logistics deposit fitted with an NFPA-regulation sprinkler system and UNI hydrant network, a LED lighting system, BMS, heat-pump air-conditioning system and 130 charging points for electric vehicles. A large photovoltaic system has been installed on the roof, providing almost 4 MW and occupying approximately 18,000 m2 of roof space, aimed at guaranteeing significant energy savings. Particular focus has been also placed on external areas, which were planned and constructed to perfectly integrate into the existing landscape through the creation of approximately 96,000 m2 of green areas with the planting of a wide range of plants and the re-planting of all the previously removed olive trees, with particular attention on the protection of important native species.

Planning was carried out with BIM technology, and the building has been constructed with a focus on sustainability principles, with the aim of obtaining BREEAM certification at the EXCELLENT level.
