Engineering 2k built an important logistics hub in Piacenza, designed to meet the needs of a large distribution centre. The total surface area of the building is 45,063 m sq., 42,417 m sq. for the warehouse and 2,646 m sq. for the offices. Furthermore, the warehouse was designed to offer ample space for manoeuvring, with 62 car parking spaces and 42 customised loading bays.

The building is equipped with an air conditioning system for the offices for employee comfort. Great importance has been devoted to safety: the building has a NFPA compliant fire prevention system.
