Engineering 2k has designed and constructed a logistics hub for SDA in Maddaloni, in the province of Caserta. The structure, which covers an area of 16,575 m2, has been designed to optimise loading and unloading operations, with double docking areas for semi-trailer trucks.

The complex is equipped with 80 loading bays and a two-storey office building, with an overall surface area of 1,329 m2, designed to offer modern and functional working space. The main architectural features include the cantilever structure of the first floor, and the panoramic terraces.

The hub has also been constructed with a 42-kW photovoltaic system, which makes a significant contribution to energy sustainability and lower operating costs, minimising the environmental impact of the complex. This commitment to a more sustainable model is further demonstrated by prestigious BREEAM Excellent certification.
