Guidonia is the location of a new logistics warehouse constructed by Engineering 2K, in the province of Rome, for a well-known European transportation specialist. This logistics building, with an overall surface area of 6,000 m2, has been designed to satisfy the modern storage and transportation requirements of temperature-controlled foodstuffs. The structure is equipped with 41 loading bays, which facilitate loading and unloading operations. Adjacent to the main building, are offices on three floors, with a surface area of 350 m2 per floor, for a total of 1050 m2.
The warehouse is also characterised by its capacity for multi-temperature storage. The main structure is destined for the depositing of goods at a controlled temperature of between 2 and 4 degrees Celsius, thus guaranteeing the ideal conservation of fresh produce. There is also a 620-m2 freezer cell capable of maintaining temperatures as low as -25 degrees Celsius, ideal for the storage of frozen produce. One of the characteristics of the warehouse is the latest-generation photovoltaic system, which provides a peak power output of 939.84 kWp and a power supply of 880.0 kW. This system makes a significant contribution to the energy sustainability of the structure, reducing environmental impact and operational costs.
