This new, futuristic logistics structure has been constructed in the existing Castel San Giovanni logistics park and was built on behalf of SEGRO, destined for use by SDA Express Courier, the end user and an important operator in the freight transportation sector. With a total surface area of more than 22,500 m2, the building has been designed to optimise the flow of traffic as well as daily operations. 102 fully equipped loading bays have been situated on two of the building’s facades. To satisfy the administrative needs of the users, the building has also been constructed with two floors of office space, each with a surface area of 660 m2.

To further reduce carbon emissions, “CSG X” is our first building to be fitted with a 600-kWp photovoltaic system combined with a 300-kW battery system, which allows energy to be stored for later use.
Thanks to the close collaboration with our client and our commitment to sustainable company development, this building is due to be granted with BREEAM-Excellent environmental certification.
