A building fitted with an NFPA-regulation sprinkler system, LED lighting, BMS, rainwater collection for toilet flushing and irrigation, and the use of thermal insulation materials for doors, windows and roofs. The roof is fitted with a large photovoltaic system providing more than 600 KWp, and there are charging points for electric vehicles. Numerous innovative methods were employed in the construction of this building, leading to significant benefits both in terms of comfort and sustainability, such as, for example, the construction of a green roof to cover the offices, comprising of a roof garden with evergreen shrubs. The building has been assigned BREEAM certification at the EXCELLENT level.
Furthermore, to maintain the balance and biodiversity of the area, ample green space has been created, with tree-lined areas and fruit orchards all planned in a harmonious manner and containing a fully functioning farm with donkeys for milk production and for pet-therapy activities for both employees and the greater community.
