Engineering 2K has provided support to Tiesse S.p.A., a key player in the logistics and transportation sector, for the expansion of an existing company building in response to growing demand from its clients. This is a significant expansion project, involving the construction of an additional warehouse of more than 13,300 m2 as an annex to the building, as well as approximately 300 m2 of office space. To increase the daily flow of goods, 16 new loading bays have been created, 2 of which are dedicated to light vehicles and are positioned below road level. External spaces and roads have been reorganised to allow access to these new loading areas.

Particular attention has been paid to the ecological impact and overall sustainability of this expansion project. Thanks to concrete actions such as the use of recyclable building materials, the installation of a 600-KWP photovoltaic system on the roof and a focus on comfort for users of the building, the operation has received BREEAM In-Use certification.
